Advanced Cataloging (Import, Find/Replace, etc.) now start off with the correct database (the first default database), which is the first selected database in Catalog’s Select Library dropdown. Previously, Advanced Cataloging would start off with the first database selected alphabetically.

This is the first release to introduce compliance with Section 508 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
The reserve/hold notification email has been revised as follows: The sender email address is now the library_mailto address specified in installation.xml, and failing that, the address specified for ‘sender’ in global.ini. The patron’s email address is no longer used as the sender address. The patron’s email address is referenced in the body of the email.
Link searches (author, subject, series) in the Results display are now Postgres queries (if Postgres is enabled) and will now show all filters.
The Share Search URL has been shortened by eliminating unused keys. In addition, a problem affecting how that URL was copied to the clipboard when the OK button was clicked has been addressed.
Search Search now works if Postgres is set to ‘off’.
Share Item functionality has been modified to function consistently with Share Search.
A Details icon has been added for each record displayed in Search Results. Clicking the Details icon will take you into Record Details, where operations such as reserves and holds can be performed.
After creating and viewing a "Guest List" or "My List" and selecting "Email", Mandarin M5 V5.7.7.1 now provides a check box option "Email to Library" allowing patrons to easily email the librarian.
Circulation.
A scenario involving multiple Circulation sessions and a stale patron recordset in one or more sessions, which could result in both a loan and a hold or reserve on the same item, has been resolved.
Record Editor.
We have addressed and issue where adding quoted text inside a custom record template would break the Template selection dropdown.
A regression introduced in 5.7.6 caused the date format in 853#e to be formatted incorrectly.
